Prayer During the month of Fasting (Ramadan)

Based on Australian moonsighting, the Masjid Al Falah premise is currently used for early-night prayer during the month of fasting (Ramadan), serving the local as well as wider Muslim community across Perth WA, where the entire Qur’an (Khatm-e-Qur’an) is recited by three to four dedicated Huffaz.

From evening to the end of prayer, light refreshment is provided. This brings communities together to celebrate the month of Ramadan to promote kindness, compassion, and tolerance in society and to achieve closeness to Allah (SWT) through patience and sacrifice (by abstaining from food during the day and through praying during the night), ultimately resulting to better human beings.

Eid Prayers

Considering the large gathering of the community, Al Falah Muslim Association Inc. (AFMA) makes diligent efforts to organize the Eid prayers for both Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha in a spacious venue (like a community hall) with obtaining necessary permissions from the City Council. However, the premise is used as a preparation place (e.g., preparatory meeting, storage for prayer mats, and sound system) to organize the prayers.
